Amy Butler Beginners Class
Dates:
- Monday-Thursday, June 23-26, 2008, 10-12
Description: Spend four evenings working on
two projects from designer Amy Butler's book "In Stitches."
This class will teach you how to read the patterns and instructions in
the book so you can go on to make everything in it. We begin with a simple
shoulder bag, an easy project that uses basic sewing skills. The second
project is a Kimono Style Bathrobe, which introduces garment construction
and finishing techniques. By the end of the class, you will have two great
projects completed, and you'll have the knowledge and skills to keep on
sewing.
Some experience with a sewing machine is helpful but not required. Please
bring all materials to the first class so we can dive right in.
