Beading for Quilters
Dates:
- Saturday, May 17, 2008, 10-5 (1 hour for lunch)
Description: Learn some basic beading techniques to apply to your quilts. We will use an underwater scene to set the stage for our bead embroidery. The stitches learned in class can be applied to any future quilt, doll, purse or wearable art you desire.

Mat, evenweave dishtowl, or plastic plate for keeping beads from rolling
away
Scissors
Thimble if desired
Glasses if you need them!
Kit to make class project includes fabric, stabilizer, beads, sequins,
C-LON thread, beading needle
If bringing own supplies:
Fabric
Ultra-Firm stabilizer (same size as fabric)
Assorted beads - size 6/0, 8/0 and 11/0
Sequins
Large glass "stones"
Beading needles size 12
