Learn all the basic steps to make your first quilt! In this class you will learn rotary cutting 1/4" seams, piecing, borders, basting, straight-line quilting, and binding. You will have a beautiful Rail Fence pattern quilt at the end of the class!

Learn a new block technique and turn it into a mug rug at the same time. Learn how to weave your own fabric for a bag, mugrug, yoke of a dress, or more.

Explore the basics of machine quilting in this one day class. You’ll stitch a “sampler” using the walking foot as well as the free-motion foot. Layering, pinning, batting choices, threads, and marking tools will also be covered. With a little practice you’ll be ready to complete those unfinished quilt tops!

Lepidoptera is a fun quilt for nature lovers of all ages! These sweet butterflies are pieced with no special techniques or templates using all basic shapes. In this class we'll learn to make the largest butterfly, walking through step-by-step to conquer this pattern. After class you'll be ready to finish up your largest butterfly at home, and then either move forward to the smaller ones or quilt and bind! Even though we probably won't get to the smaller ones in class, feel free to bring questions about those blocks, fabrics, etc., to class and we'll discuss them as time allows. Class is from 10:30 - 5:30 with a lunch break.

Using Heavens Above and Heavens Above Revisited, Betty Ring will teach you how to do one of these beautiful landscapes and skyscapes. Pieced works of art are separated into several smaller sections.

Join Phoebe to make this stunning new take on a traditional Double Wedding Ring quilt! Denyse Schmidt's pattern brings these rings to the 21st century - a familiar design with a new twist. This pattern focuses on improvisationally piecing the quilting rings, but then learning to square them down to be able to use them within a curved design block. In the first class we'll focus on all that fun improvisation, and in the second we'll hone our abilities to sew curves and square up these blocks for this amazing finish!

Join us once a month to sew on an English Paper Piecing project of your choice. Get complicated and do a La Passacaglia or do a simple hexie flower garden. We will be here to help, sew, and just enjoy your company. This is not a beginner class. If you want to learn how to do English Paper Piecing, please take the beginner class with Phoebe.

Pick your pattern from the many Sew Kind of Wonderful pattern to use with the Quick Curve or Quick Curve Mini rulers. The new Urbanologie Pattern booklet has many different blocks to work with! Buy all your supplies at Quilting Adventures and there is no charge for the session. If you bring all your own supplies, there is a $20 fee per session.

Join us monthly for a sit and stitch - project of your choice: sewing needlework etc. We''ll have a short info session while you have coffee and pastries and then you are free to do whatever for the rest of the day.
