Experimenting with Dyeing - Folding and Clamping

Description: Learn how to dye fabric using various techniques to achieve fascinating visual textures in your finished fabrics. We will be folding, clamping, and twisting fabric and squirting dye in this class that shows how playing can yield some awesome results! All dyes and chemicals are provided.

Class fee: $20
Kit fee: $5 includes all dyes and chemicals
Level: Beginner
Supply List:
Rubber gloves, dust mask or handkerchief (these dyes and chemicals
are less toxic than Clorox, but I teach caution when working with them).
Plastic bags to take fabrics home in
4 yards of PFD cotton fabrics of your choice (we recommend Tonga, Pimatex, or Kona), MUST BE prewashed in synthrapol. We sell a sampler package of 4 1-yard cuts of PFD fabric that is perfect for this class, but it MUST still be prewashed.
