Improvisational Quilting
Dates:
- Saturdays May 31, 2008, 2-4 & June 7, 2008, 1-4
Description: Experiment with fused raw edge
appliqué, glues, paints, embellishments, water soluble film, threads,
found stuff, quilt on quilt & more. Create your own original, free
style wall quilt landscape, seascape, flowers, still life you bring the
picture, design, ideas and create. This is a "no rules approach"
collage using a mix of conventional piecing and raw edge fused appliqué.
The quilting and decorative thread painting are done in one artistic step.
Many examples and books will be available if you need help with ideas..
Keep it simple and start small 20"x 30" is about as big as you
want to attempt. This is fun!!!
