Fabric Landscapes
Dates:
- Saturday, March 8, 2008, 10-5
Description: Learn how to approach the "construction" of a landscape quilt. Students will get an overview of the entire process beginning with the selection of a subject through completion. In advance of the class students will choose a composition from several 11 x 14 landscape designs so that they may select appropriately from their fabric collections. The hands-on part of the class will focus on techniques for creating the illusion of depth through fabric and thread selections. Students will begin the construction of their landscape quilt in class for completion at home.
