Exploring with Shiva Paintstiks
Dates:
- Saturday, November 1, 2008, 10-12
Description: An introduction to the application of Shiva Paintstiks to fabric. Students will learn the technical ins and outs of working with this versatile medium and explore its potential to create unique images and textures. A variety of stencils and rubbing plates will be available for experimentation and students will create samples for future reference. Warning: creating with paintstiks can be habit-forming!
Instructor: Estelle Porter
Class fee: $15
Kit fee: $20 (covers use of paintstiks, brushes, rubbing plates, and assorted other tools and supplies during class, fabric also provided)

wear old clothing or bring a protective apron
