for Beginners - PopTop Dates:

This beginning dollmaking class will use Julie McCullough's pattern "PopTop"
to create a delightful doll that serves as a good introduction to cloth dollmaking.
Learn the basic tricks and techniques while creating your own version of this

Pattern by Julie McCullough 100% cotton fabrics: 1/8 yard for body and
head 1/8 yard for legs 1/8 yard for face and hands 1/8 yard for short
skirt and sleeves OR 1/4 yard for long skirt and sleeves 2" x 24"
piece for sash Ruler Funky, fun yarn for hair
Embroidery thread for hair Small beads (or fabric paint or pen) for eyes
Fabric pen (or paint) for face (OR you may use my pens if you'd rather not buy
them) Powdered blusher (optional) Sewing threads to match your fabric
Stuffing (I recommend Airtex - don't try to be cheap on the stuffing!) 4
x 4" piece of stiff interfacing or timtex Sewing machine in good working
order, with needles, bobbins, etc. Paper and fabric scissors Hand sewing
