Learn the Eleanor Burns technique of applique by hand or machine using the shapes in the class picture (tulips, leaves, bird, and heart). This is the beginning block of a Baltimore Album Quilt. You'll learn the basic stitch, how to sew curves, points, and dips. Expect to leave class with a beginner's understanding of her technique, and hopefully a desire to continue the quilt and try other new techniques and projects!
