Supply List

- Free-Wheeling Single Girl Pattern
- Fabric to make chosen size- feel free to bring an assortment of cuts for the rings, from yardage to scraps
-Roll of Reynolds brand Freezer paper
- Sheet of Template plastic at least 12x18"
-Large fabric scissors
-Paper scissors and extra-fine point Sharpie Marker
-Marking pencil to contrast with fabrics
-Rotary cutter & rulers that total at least 12" square (a single square ruler is preferred but you can 'stack' rulers if need be)
-28mm Rotary Cutter -optional, but necessary if you want to attempt rotary cutting the curves (otherwise we will cut them with scissors)
-Pins - super-fine straight pins, approximately 1-1.5" (Clover's Patchwork Pins are the best)
- Sewing Machine with 1/4" foot
- Microtex 70/10 machine needle
-Neutral 50wt, 100% cotton piecing thread
-Regular sewing supplies

PRE-CLASS WORK

-Trace the ring piecing guide onto template plastic with your Sharpie, making sure to transfer all marked lines.  Cut out carefully on the solid (outer) line with your paper scissors.

-Trace the outer and inner background templates onto template plastic and freezer paper with your Sharpie.  When tracing on the freezer paper, draw on the dull side, and at least four copies of each of the two templates.  For the template plastic, you only need one of each of the templates.  Make sure to transfer all marked lines.  Cut out carefully on the solid (outer)line with your paper scissors.

CLASS POLICIES
If your class starts at the same time that we open, we will let you into the shop ten minutes before class time.

In consideration of other students and employees with allergies, please limit your use of scented personal products when attending one of our classes.

If your class calls for a book or pattern, each student needs their own copy of that book or pattern.  Under federal copyright law, books and patterns may not be shared.

If your class requires a sewing machine, please be sure that you are familiar with its operation, it is in good working order, has been serviced recently, and bring your manual along to class just in case.

We do not allow children under the of 18 in our classes without the consent of the teacher and the shop owners.

Pets are not allowed.

Only the person who is enrolled and paid for the class may be in the classroom during class time.  Out of consideration for the teacher and the other students, please do not bring children, guests, or friends to class with you.

Cancellation policy:  If the class minimum is not met within seven days prior to the class, it may be cancelled.  You will be notified and will receive a full refund.  No refunds of class fees will be given if the student cancels within one week prior to class.
