New in the store!
Spring has arrived at QA. We have lots of lovely flowers, some Asians, gardening, and new batiks on the way. Spring 2018 Kaffe's have also arrived. You'll have to come in to see them, no pictures available yet.
We also have ice cream, puffins, pond animals, penguins and polar bears. I know the last two aren't springy, but they as so cute.
Spring is so busy. Even tho the weather is all over the place, everyone is out watching some sort of sport - golf, baseball, running and gardening. The Virginia Consortium of Quilters' big bi-annual retreat is this year. Check out their website at www.vcq.org to see all the wonderful classes and networking opportunities this statewide guild has to offer. Join the consortium and travel the state for quarterly meetings. The Richmond Quilt Guild is having their annual Tea and Quilts, April 29th. Go to their website to sign up. It's a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. May brings Mother's Day and the Komen Race for the Cure. QA is helping sponsor the race this year!!! Look for our name in the programs. You can also support me and my team - the Pink Footed Boobies. Sign-up and walk with us or donate to the team. The weather is always lovely for the walk and you'll be done before lunch. In the midst of all this, take time to quilt and sew. Our lovely fabrics get lonely and want you to visit. So does the QA staff. Stay warm or cool, what ever the day demands and happy sewing.
Phyllis and the QA staff
