Hello, quilters! We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter if you celebrate, and a happy Passover and Ramadan to others.

We still have a few classes coming up this spring. Susie’s Sashiko classes have already filled up yet again! Be sure to check out our other classes while you can.
Here’s your quick tip for the week:
Replacing Your Rotary Blade
OLFA offers some tips on installing a new blade for your rotary cutter.
Always follow the directions that are included on the packaging. Take the cutter apart one piece at a time and lay the parts in the order you’ve removed them, then reassemble once you’ve replaced the blade.
Dispose of the blade in the container it came in, or a spare blade container, taping it shut to avoid it coming open (we use a sharps container at the store!).
If you’re using a multipack of blades, carefully wrap the blade in several layers of paper or cardboard and tape it securely with boxing or duct tape.

Get OLFA’s blade changing guide here.
Mitered Quilting
In February, we shared instructions for finishing your quilt “the mitered way.”
Here’s Benny’s latest mini quilt as a finished example!
