Classes
Hi QA friends,
It's Heather and I have a shamless plug for a few classes happening this week and into December. I am teaching Collage on Friday and the Double Strip quilt on Saturday. We have a few spaces in each of these classes.
Collage is 10-1 tomorrow and we have a couple of seats. This has been kind of a big deal for our learners and we aren't sure how many more we will be teaching in the near future. We certainly won't be keeping the monthly pace for this class. We are looking at new ideas and techniques! So I recommend jumping on this class now, if you want to take it and have the time. I'm sure we'll teach it again, we just don't know that it'll be any time before spring (unless hordes of people deman it, of course!)
The Double Strip class is Saturday 10-2 and will probably be the ONLY time I teach this particular technique with this particular pattern, which I wrote--sheeh, some people just brag, brag, brag ;). So if you've been on the fence about this class, I recommend you jump on it this go around!
Rope Bowls and Trivets class with Julie is December 1st 2-5 pm (tomorrow!!) Once you see how easy (and fun!) these suckers are, you'll be gifting them to everyone and their brother. Bright, colorful, gorgeous gifts.
Kawandi is December 7 from 4-7 pm and if you like handstitching in front of the TV while watching Dateline (I may have said too much about my evening laziness), this is a great project...and bonus, it uses scraps!
I also want to remind you that December 9 @ 10:30, I have a one hour math class. We will go over calculating yardage for various common quilting needs. It feels scary, but I promise, you'll get to see me do one of the most anxiety producing things a person can do: math in public!
Whew, I think that's it! We really appreciate all your support over the last 6 months. We couldn't do this without our beloved quilting community.
Thank you!
Heather
