Demo Day, Classes and Other Info...
We hope this chilly, sunny day finds you getting into the spirit of the season. We've had some good cheer in the store and we want to share it with you!
1. Demo Day is coming!! No we aren't demo-ing the store again, we are DEMONSTRATING our favorite tools. From ways to mark quilts to ways to measure, we are planning on a demo day that will make your quilting life better! So when is Demo Day, you ask? Monday, January 1st. Yes, we'll be open that one Monday. Come see us! We will have demos on the 1/2 hour mark. Keep your eyes peeled for our schedule, so you can plan a trip to see demos of what matters most to you!
2. Classes from January have been scheduled! From Sashiko and Kawandi to the Ripples Class and Double Strips, we have a ton of offerings. Julie and I have both heard from students that they want to sit down and sew with us, so we added a Sew with Julie and a Sew with Heather offering as well--I can't wait to have an excuse to shamelessly sew all day. It's been a while. We are also in the process of putting up a general Beginner Sewing class. That will most likely be late January. Check out our classes here.
3. We will be closed Sunday December 17th. Why? Inventory. Oy vey. It's a big job and we figured we need two days to do it, so Sunday we'll be closed to help wrap our minds around counting every bolt, every needle, every spool of thread.
Thank you, as always, for your support!
